When Laney Crowell visited her great, great grandmother to celebrate her 99th birthday, she couldn’t believe how incredible she still looks.
Laney owns Saie, a cosmetic company that provides cosmetic solutions to people of all ages, skin tones, and backgrounds. And Helene, being the supportive granny that she is, uses Saie products.
Helene would be a good addition as one of Saie’s models, Laney thought. So, she asked her grandmother to consider modeling for her company.
But Helene’s initial response was: “absolutely not.”
Laney asked her social media followers for help. She asked if it’’d be a good idea to feature a beautiful almost-centenarian in their ad. Saie’s 14,000 fans approved. And that encouraged Helene.
“My granddaughter persisted and encouraged me to show the world that 99-year-old women should still be represented,” Helene said.
She got to model Saie’s Slip Tint, Mascara 101, and Dew Blush in the ad. She looks absolutely gorgeous wearing a white shirt and chunky jade necklace.
Helene didn’t expect that she’d enjoy the photoshoot so much. She had a great time being the star of the show!
“I loved being on set,” she said. “The photographer was incredible and so fun. It definitely was a treat to get my hair and makeup done.”
Helene’s photos are stunning. She is glowing in front of the cameras. And what’s more refereshing is to see someone her age appearing in ads for beauty products!
